1858/7 Large Letters FS-006. NGC graded AU-58. A nice bold strike.All of the diagnostics for this valuable Flying Eagle overdate are clearly discernible with the aid of light magnification. The strike is much nicer than standard for the overdate on the eagle's tail feathers and the highpoints of the wreath, while a mixture of pleasing light gray-tan to pale brown patina covers all. Residual luster remains.
