Louise Caroline Alberta, Princess Royal (1848-1939) Sixth child and fourth daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert; she became Marchioness of Lorne and Duchess of Argyll by marriage. Autograph Letter Signed ("Louise"), on personal stationery, 2pp, 5¼ x 4½", n.p., n.d. To the Dean of Windsor, "The Queen wishes me to say she wd. like to see you at 3.30 this afternoon & perhaps you could [g]et someone else to read the Even T[ide] Service in the Chapel for you…." torn upper corners, affecting one letter, and toning.
