STS-71 Space Shuttle-Mir Docking Mission. 5 color photos of the Shuttle approaching and docked to MIR (11 x 14"). Three of the photos have descriptions on the rear that read in part, 1) "A Russian proposed alternative configuration of the Shuttle/MIR docking", 2) "The commander’s eye view of the MIR is shown in technical rendition", 3) "A technical rendition of the Shuttle docked to the Kristall module of MIR". Included is a copy of the "work request job #6993" signed by Donald Puddy. Puddy was actively involved in this mission as a co-chair of one of its working committees. Also included are 3 color 8x10" photos frame #'s 23, 27 and 30, showing the crew (specifically Bonnie Dunbar) signing the log book after the flight. The photos come in the original Kodak film box. A striking collection.
