1984 Los Angeles Olympics - "Sam the Olympic Eagle". Authentic animation cel used in the television broadcast of the Games of the XXIIIrd Olympiad - Los Angeles 1984. One of 400 cels created by Image West, Ltd., the official animator of the Los Angeles Games, showing Sam the Olympic Eagle in various sports poses. This cel shows Sam holding the Olympic Torch. The cel is 10 x 12", matted and framed to an overall size of 14¼ x 16¼". Accompanied by an official certificate of authenticity signed by Peter V. Ueberroth and Paul Ziffren, President and Chairman of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee. Very fine.
