1851 C-1 R1 Second 1 Repunched. PCGS graded MS-63 Red & Brown. Lustrous mint red fading to steel brown on the highpoints, half the original mint red remaining on both sides. Excellent eye appeal. The only notable mark is a spot of dark steel toning near the wreath at S-O. MDS. The repunching right of the second 1 remains sharp. Our grade is consistent with the slab grade, perhaps slightly better. The PCGS label shows the Cohen-1 attribution and Carvin Goodridge provenance. PCGS population 3; tied for finest of the variety graded in RB at PCGS (#35325).
Estimated Value $400-UP.
