Vespasian, AD 69-79. AR Denarius minted at Rome, AD 79. Laureate head left of Vespasian. Reverse: Radiate male figure standing facing, holding spear and parazonium, atop column adorned with anchor and galley beaks. RIC 120; cf. Sear 2311 (obverse head right). Minor flan fault behind head of Vespasian. Extremely Fine and rare.
