Ptolemy II Philadelphos, 285-246 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.26g) minted at Tyre, 277/6 BC. Dated Year 7(?). Diademed head right of Ptolemy I, wearing aegis. Reverse: Eagle standing left on thunderbolt, wings folded; to left, I over club. SNG Copenhagen 477. Cf. Svoronos 634. Graffito "TIMO" behind eagle. Very Fine.
