Bactria. AR Tetradrachm (15.04g), struck c. 305-294 BC. Imitating Athens. Head right of Athena, in crested Attic helmet with no neckguard, decorated with tendril and three olive leaves, wearing hoop earring, and beaded choker; to left, trident-like character. Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; to right, barbarized legend, AΘE. Cf. SNG ANS 1 (good legend). Uniform dark toning. Extremely Fine.
