Karian Dynasts. Pixodaros, c. 340-335 BC. AR Didrachm (6.8 g) struck at Halikarnassos. Head of Apollo facing slightly right, wearing laurel wreath. Reverse: Zeus Labraundos (Pixodaros?) standing to right, holding double-axe and spear. SNG Cop 596-7; SNG von Aulock 22376; BMC 5-7; Sear 4966. Lustrous and delicately toned. Superb Extremely Fine.
