Lesbos, Mytilene. Electrum 1/6 Stater (2.51g), struck c. 412-378 BC. Bearded head right of Zeus Ammon with ram's horn, two tendrils of hair curling back from crown of head. Reverse: Diademed head right of female, hair rolled above nape of neck, within square incuse. Bodenstedt 67 a/α. Very rare. Choice Very Fine.
