Fr. 1213 $100 1882 Gold Certificate, Extremely Fine to Almost Uncirculated. A beautiful note that features the bust of Thomas Hart Benton on the left side, he was a United States Senator from 1821 through 1851. In addition, the word GOLD and the serial numbers are in gold ink, with the small official red seal on the right side. Signature combination Parker and Burke. On the back the proud eagle appears to be taking flight from his faces, with a clutch of arrows ready for the latest nationalistic adventure. Serial number M317385.
