1831. NGC graded MS-66. Wonderful blue and golden toning. A very attractive gem with supporting frosty surfaces that send jets of color out atop the fresh, gleaming, and hard-working luster beneath. Some weak spots in strike are often seen at the stars, curls, and parts of the eagle on Bust halves of the 1830s. But this particular 1831 is struck with technical exactness throughout. Pop 13; 2 finer in 67.
