Egypto-Minoan terra-cotta Straining Jar, c. 2nd-1st millennium BC. Height: 4", dia. 4½". Reddish color terra-cotta decorated with panels of lotus leaves with straining holes around. A rare form of early pottery. Intact and in choice condition.
Estimated Value $300 - 500.
From a prominent Beverly Hills Estate. Ex. Superior Galleries sale of the bankrupt assets of the International Diamond Corp. June, 1986.
