Ozzie and Harriet Nelson. Beautiful early 5 x 7 in. photo of Ozzie and Harriet, c. early 1930s, when Ozzie was an orchestra leader and Harriet Hilliard was his "girl" singer, long before they had a family (and probably before their 1935 marriage) and became famous for the TV show, "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet," which aired on ABC from October 3, 1952 through March 26, 1966. The Nelsons and their two sons, David and Eric "Ricky," were considered the ideal American family; Ricky, of course, became a teen singing idol. Signed in the plate by photographer Herbert Mitchell at lower right.
