Margaret Sullavan. Demure 11 x 14 in. photo, signed in the plate at lower right by Herbert Mitchell. Matted and framed to an overall size of 14¾ x 17¾ in. This shot was supposedly a favorite of Miss Sullavan's for publicity proposes. Sullavan (1909-1960) appeared in four movies opposite James Stewart. She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her performance in "Three Comrades" (1938).
