Gracie Allen. 11 x 14 in. head-and-shoulders photo of the distaff side of the George Burns and Gracie Allen comedy team, with original ink signature of photographer Herbert Mitchell at lower left. Matted and framed to an overall size of 14¾ x 17¾ in. In 1922, while performing in vaudeville, Miss Burns (1895?-1964) met George Burns and they formed a comedy team which lasted until Miss Burns' retirement in 1958; George was the straight man for Gracie's zany humor.
