Shuttle Program, c1980, Rare Shuttle Chase Team Nylon (Size "M") This black/white, nylon (?) jacket has snaps on the front and knit cuffs and waist. There is a multicolor "Shuttle Chase Team" on the face and a large "JSC Photography and Television Technology Division" printed Logo design on the reverse. The consignor's COA reads: I certify that the attached black JSC Photography and Television Technology Division medium sized jacket was worn by Terry Slezak as a member of the Shuttle Chase Team.
The Chase team patches were worn by only 3 photographers, a few JSC pilots and a few astronauts who flew in the T-38's to document the Shuttle Landings. The patch is quite scarce. Minor white staining below the back collar. This is the first time we have ever seen this jacket. Striking.
