ASTP, 1975, FLOWN Manned Flight Awareness Medallions and Certificates. Lot of three similar medallions (1.5") and certificates (14x11"). The medallions are marked on the reverse: "contains metal from both Apollo and Soyuz that joined together in the first International Manned Space Mission on July 15-25, 1975". The medallions can be attached to the multicolor, bilingual certificates so as to show both sides. These units were distributed to contract employees as a "Thank You!" for the work they did to make the flight a success.
While the medallions are sometimes available, the certificates, due to their size, seldom are. Attractive with minor dings and rubs on some. Attractive.
