Photos, Etc. An interesting lot consisting of a copy of "Moon Shot" by Alan Shepard and Deke Slayton (1994, First Edition, 383pp, hard with dust jacket) inscribed to Bobbie Slayton and inscribed by Alan Shepard, Jay Barbaree and Howard Benedict. Also included is a limited edition (No. 49/90) color photo by "The Mercury Astronauts" and signed by John Glenn, Scott Carpenter, Wally Schirra and Gordon Cooper, a fabulous black and white photo (8x10") of all of the Mercury Seven astronauts (less Gus Grissom) apparantly taken in Florida, a black and white autographed photo (8x10") of Deke in a crowd with French President Valerie Giscard d'Estaing (c1974-1981), five 8x10" black and white photos of Deke in one capacity or another including in Launch Control smoking a monster cigar and another where he is holding the proposed solution to the Apollo 13 oxygen problem, a lithium hydroxide container and explaining it to a group of mission controllers (?), etc. and a copy of the book "Last Man on the Moon" by Gene Cernan (First Edition, March 1999, 356pp., hard with dust cover) and autographed/inscribed by the Author, Gene Cernan. A nice lot in excellent overall condition.
