Miscellaneous, 1969/./1992, Balance of Collection. A diverse lot that includes three different sheets of US space stamps, each in a US postal Service black Presentation, folder with Slayton's name embossed on the face (5c Sam Houston, 6c Apollo 8 and 29c Shuttle stamps); a 1984 typed letter on Coors letterhead from Alan Shepard (signed Alan in red ink) re the upcoming Lindburgh dinner; assorted Russian language newspapers (related to ASTP); a 1980, 10th World Aerobatic Championship Program/magazine signed by Chuck Yeager on the cover along with autographs of several of the competitors on the inside (some some hand-written notes by Slayton are included also); an aeronautical engineering report for Aero 132 at the Univ. of Minnesota and submitted by (B+ grade) entitled "Structural Design of a Wing" and including several pages of engineering drawings by Slayton); a 1996 typed letter from Tom Hanks on his business letter head re distribution of profits for his TV movie "From the Earth to the Moon" plus diverse other autographs, etc are included. ALSO hard cover books are including such as "Apollo Soyuz Test Project / Summary Science Report" (NASA SP-412), "Leap of Faith" by Gordon Cooper, autographed), "Biomedical Results of Apollo (NASA SP-368, autographed by one of the authors), the "1996 National Hall of Fame "Enshrinee Album" (the year Deke was enshrined into this august organization) and "On the Shoulders of Titans" (NASA SP-4203, hard, shrinkwrapped). Alseo two US (including a silver Apollo 1 Memorial) medallions and one Russian bronze medallion. A diverse, but important lot.
