Civil War Era Photo Album. Period CDV Album with 30 cartes de visite, including eight men in uniform who are unidentified except for Dr. Lucius W. Clark, a surgeon in the 13th Regt. Conn. Vols and Dr. Homer B. Sprague, a brevet col. in the 13th Conn. Vols., noted lecturer and author of Lights & Shadows in Confederate Prisons, a personal Experience 1864-65; also, Mr. William Bishop, with W.P. Bennet, Marietta, Ohio imprint (soiled and marked through mouth). Includes a bust CDV of Grant and a CDV of a print of Washington and Lincoln, "The Father and the Martyr." Remainder are relatives of Dr. Clark.
