1847/7 N-2 R3 Large 7 over Small 7 PCGS graded AU55. Glossy chocolate brown with steel brown toning on the highpoints. Sharply struck with excellent eye appeal, close to AU50. A small planchet chip in the center of the jawline is the best identifying mark. EDS, die state a. The fields are hard and very slightly reflective and the undertype "Small 47" feature is sharp. A premium example of this popular "Redbook" variety.
