This lovely and original three-fold "XF" is likely one of a small and long since dispersed hoard of $5 Type 2 examples which make up the overwhelming majority of the reported notes from here. A PCGS Currency graded Choice About New 58PPQ of the same denomination from this bank sold for $12,000 last February. While we don't expect the same realization from this piece today, the popularity of this locale should keep the bidding going until it reaches or exceeds our estimate.
