New York March 5, 1776 $2/3. PCGS Extremely Fine 40PPQ. Fr-NY-190. A lovely example of this fractional denomination, with outstanding margins that frame the face design almost ideally. The back design is off center a hair to the right, with a small portion of the adjacent note on the sheet showing at left. About as nice an "XF" one is bound to find from this issue, which is often plagued by excessively toned or damaged paper or other flaws.
