1876/5 Dollar Octagonal Indian. BG-1128 Rarity 5. PCGS graded MS-63. Prooflike surfaces on this well struck Dollar-denomination piece. Rarely seen this choice. As with the half dollar so-dated, the 6 in the die was engraved over an earlier 5, but with both numerals visible on the struck coin. Indian and Liberty dollars are the scarcest denominations in the series (PCGS # 10939) .
