1795 S-76b R1 Plain Edge Fair-2. Off Center. Glossy chocolate and steel brown, the devices a lighter shade than the fields. There are areas of fine roughness and hairline scratches on both sides, but they are not significant given the heavy wear. The date is essentially gone as are most of the legends. But there is more than enough remaining to be certain of the variety. What makes this piece special is that it was struck 10% off center to K-4.5.
