Lot 160

1795 S-76b R1 Plain Edge PCGS graded VF25. Very attractive medium brown with a swipe of light chocolate brown at the top of the reverse. Smooth surfaces that are void of any trace of verdigris or planchet flaws. The only marks are a thin diagonal nick left of the cap and a few rim bruises, including one at the L in LIBERTY and another under the 1 in the denominator. The date and legends are complete and strong. Nicely struck EDS, before any hint of swelling in the obverse fields. Excellent eye appeal in spite of the few contact marks. Our grade is net F12+, close to F15.
Estimated Value $700-UP.

Realized $1,384
