1794 S-26 R2 VG7. Counterstamped "H. HEIDLER" across the obverse, Brunk H-458. Sharpness VG10 or better but the stamp was strongly impressed and flattened the opposing designs on the reverse. The surfaces are dull and the planchet at the base of the date is beveled causing the bottom of each digit to fade out. Dark steel and olive. The obverse is slightly glossy while the reverse is matte. M-LDS with strong die cracks through the first S and E in STATES. The stamp is strongly and evenly impressed.
