1868. PCGS graded Proof 65 Red. A beautiful reddish-gold in color. Only 600 or so proofs struck. Struck before Proof collecting took off twenty years later, the mintage limits the supply of Gems, even those not having full brilliant red color. This will surely land in a high-end set of Proof Indian Cents! Pop 7; 2 in 66 RD (PCGS # 2293) .
