Lot 593

1827 N-10 R4+ VG10. A couple points sharper but there are traces of microscopic roughness at ES-OF-AMER. In addition there are three faint bisecting scratches on the obverse intersecting just left of the earlobe plus some light scratches around the line under CENT and a small rim bruise at ED in UNITED. Otherwise the surfaces are smooth and attractive, void of any notable distractions. Glossy light olive and bluish steel brown, possibly lightly cleaned and retoned. The minutely rough area on the reverse is toned a slightly darker shade of reddish chocolate. MDS. The date and legends are bold. This piece offers nice eye appeal for the grade in spite of the imperfections.
Estimated Value $150-UP.
