Lot 592

1825 N-3 R3 VF30. Very attractive glossy medium chocolate brown with satiny mint frost peeking through in protected areas on both sides. The surfaces are perfectly smooth, free of any hint of corrosion or verdigris. The only notable mark is a small, dull nick just right of the second S in STATES. LDS. The small die chip (lump on the coin) is still visible under star 6, and there are fine die cracks from the curl at star 13 to the top of the 5 and another from the bust tip into the field toward the dentils under star 1. Both cracks are very light. In addition there is a very thin double profile (from die bounce) on the chin, lips, and nose. Quite nice for the grade offering excellent eye appeal.
Estimated Value $150-UP.

Realized $748
