1798 S-157 R2 Style I Hair, Small 8 VG7. Sharpness F15 but there is a deep gash on the left side of the reverse plus some smaller contact marks elsewhere on both sides. A planchet lamination is partially peeled up at ED in UNITED and a less obvious lamination shows at the C in AMERICA. Glossy chocolate brown. MDS with a clear die crack from the neck to the rim at right. The date is strong and the legends are clear except for NITED thanks to the gash and lamination in that area.
