Lot 551
1797 S-126 R3 G4. Sharpness F12 but covered with fine porosity. No verdigris, but there are several old pinscratches on both sides and a dozen shallow pitmarks or digs on the reverse. Slightly glossy olive brown and chocolate. The date is bold and the legends are complete. MDS with a clear die crack from the rim to the throat.
