1796 S-104 R3 Draped Bust with LIHERTY Obverse VG10. Sharpness VF35 but parts of the planchet show shallow erosion, strongest at ERT above the head. Extremely fine roughness also covers much of both sides, but overall the eye appeal is not too bad in spite of the obvious imperfections. There are faint traces of greenish verdigris on both sides and on the edge, but the verdigris is visible only with the aid of a glass. Rather glossy mix of light and dark chocolate tones blended with some reddish chocolate and olive. MDS. The LIHERTY error (B over inverted B forming an "H") is clear. The date and legends are strong. An acceptable example of this popular "Redbook" variety.
