Boeotia, Federal Coinage, c. 288-244 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.69 g). Laureate head right of Zeus (Poseidon?). Reverse: Poseidon seated left on throne decorated with shield; Poseidon holds dolphin and trident. Jameson 2065 (this reverse die); cf. BMC 63. Extremely rare. Obverse struck in high relief; Choice Very Fine.

Fewer than ten tetradrachms are known of this coin type minted by Demetrios Poliorketes.
