1907. PCGS graded MS-63. Lovely golden toning. The long career of the Liberty quarter eagle came to an end with this issue. We hesitate to use the term "illustrious career" since the quarter eagle served its purpose, did its duty, without much notice or fanfare. All the same, this charming design had been in almost continuous production from 1840 to 1907! (PCGS # 7859) .
