Sale 65

Lot 1121

1920-S. PCGS graded MS-66 CAC Approved. The head is about full. Intensely lustrous and creamy-white in color. In an OGH. Like other early Standing Liberty Quarters of this caliber, this MS66 1920-S has better-than-usual definition the main devices, though with typical flat head on Liberty. The fields are swimming with luster, which add even more to the brightness of the silvery originality. Essentially defect-free, this is a very appealing example of this underrated and often poorly-produced S-mint quarter. Pop 15; 2 in 67 (PCGS # 5738) .
Estimated Value $2,500 - 3,000.

Realized $4,140
