Lot 742

Sterling Silver Cuff With Large Cabochon of Classic Blue Gem Turquoise (Nevada). Made by Navajo silversmith John Yazzie. The blue colors of the turquoise are almost iridescent, and the small light blue circles subcategorize it as "water web" turquoise. The silver is hand-chiseled by John. The size is 7¼", with little flexibility. "Water web" is similar to the "birds eye" matrix. There are areas of lighter blue in the turquoise with a water-like blue-green matrix encircling them. The "birds eye" matrix is much darker blue with a more defined outline.
Estimated Value $500 - 750.

Realized $561
