Tikhomirova, O.V. Birch Grove. Oil on canvas. 24 x 30 in., signed "O.T. 701" in lower right corner. Matted and framed to 33 x 38¼ in. Tall birch trees are set off by the blue sky and white snow with bits of color here and there in the grove. This painting was part of the first Soviet Art Exhibition brought to the U.S. in the 1970s.
