The following signed items were sent to Danny Leeds, a young man suffering from a brain tumor (he died in 2002): Wayne Gretzky, a signed hockey puck; Gordie Howe, a signed, inscribed photo collage; Mario Lemieux, a signed letter wishing a speedy recovery; and a signed photo collage of eight members of the 2004 Philadelphia Flyers: Tony Amonte, Eric Desjardins, Simon Gagne, Jeff Hackett, John LeClair, Keith Primeau, Mark Recchi, and Jeremy Roenick. All fine.
