Corbett, James J. & Gene Tunney. Full-length silhouette signed, "Gene Tunney," 10¾ in. on 11½ x 5½ backing. Tunney was heavyweight champion 1926-28. Part of his last name is written beneath his leg. Matted and framed with a 5 x 3 in. photo of Jack Dempsey and Tunney signed "From Jack and Gene" by one of them in the lower border; overall size is17¾ x 13¾ in. With a separate, full-length silhouette signed, "Yours truly Jas J Corbett," 10½ in. image on 12¾ x 5½ in. backing. "Gentleman Jim" was the 1892-97 heavyweight champion. Silhouette cut by artist Beatrix Sherman around 1916 in Atlantic City. Some whitening around ankles and shoes.
