Erskine, Carl (1926 -) Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodger pitcher from 1948-1959, during which time the Dodgers won five National League pennants. In 1953 Erskine won 20 games and set a World Series record with 14 strikeouts. Picture of Erskine (from a painting) signed and inscribed in black marker "To Dan…" with Erskine's #17 and the years he played for the Dodgers. With a handdrawn ball and bat, in pencil, each signed by Erskine, with information about his playing years. Comes with the original envelope.
