Flintlock - Early Kentucky Type. Smooth bore. Barrel: 41 5/8", two stage octagon and round. Overall: 57¼". Solid brass side plate, brass furniture. Stock with eight-fingered decoration rear of barrel tang. Inside of lock marked " Seth Allen." This gun probably made within the last 30 or 40 years for black powder shooting purposes, possibly made from an earlier stock. Ramrod nicely brass tipped; does not seat fully.
