[Kennedy Robert F.] Prison Complaint Against Sirhan Sirhan. Inmate/Parolee Appeal dated 12-26-98, one page, 11 x 8½ in., CSP [California State Prison] Corcoran, PHU [Protective Housing Unit]. A formal complaint by inmate Kenny Calihan filed against Sirhan Sirhan, who was convicted of killing Senator Robert F. Kennedy on June 5, 1968 at L.A.'s Ambassador Hotel just after Kennedy had declared victory in the California Democratic presidential primary. The complaint states that Sirhan Sirhan "repeatly walks around the unit naked" and when asked not to, just smiles and grins. The inmate requests that Sirhan Sirhan take a shower in his cell "and not on the tier where other inmates have to look or see this behavior." The appeal was granted. In 2009 Sirhan Sirhan, who is serving a life sentence with the possibility of parole, was transferred to Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga, California.
Estimated Value $400 - 600.
