Lot 1323
Apollo Program, 1968, Unflown Mission Patches. A fascinating group of two patches that include an original 2TV-1 patch with a dark blue background, an LTA 8 patch that is significantly different than the patches pictured on the web site "Space Mission Patches" in that it is sewn in turquoise and white on navy blue. Since both were consigned by a former NASA spacesuit technician, closely involved in astronaut training, the odds are that both of these are original patches used by the astronauts during training. A scarce pair.
