Apollo 8, 1968, FLOWN Heatshield (1.5x1") This full heatshield plug with metal base is mounted in a clear lucite cylinder (2x3") which is, in turn, mounted on a rectangular wooden base (5.5x4x1.5") with descriptive metal plaque that reads: "First Manned Lunar Orbital Flight / Apollo 8 / Dec.21-27, 1968". A classic piece of memorabilia in pristine condition.
