Mercury Program, 1984, "The Charles A. Lindbergh Fund Dinner Honoring James Doolittle + The Pioneer Astronauts" Presenta (5") This special patch is mounted on a white presentation board that has been signed by Mercury astronauts Scott Carpenter, Gordon Cooper, John Glenn, Wally Schirra, Alan Shepard and Deke Slayton. The back of the plaque has a label that reads: "Compliments of A-B Emblem Division of Conrad Industries, Inc. Weaverville, N. C. Suppliers to American Aero-Space since 1943". Some stains on the plaque, but a fairly unique patch. This is obviously a companion piece to the lot offered in a previous lot. Desireable and rare.
