Mercury Program, 1984, "The Charles A. Lindberg Fund Dinner" Signed Presenttion Plaque. The dinner honored James Doolittle and the Pioneer Astronauts. The mat surrounding this specially prepared Patch is signed by Anne Morrow Lindbergh, James Doolittle, Deke and Bobbie Slayton, Gordon and Susan Cooper, Scott and Maria Carpenter, Betty Grissom, Alan and Louise Shepard, John and Annie Glenn, Wally and Jo Schirra, Marge Slayton and two others. Probably all of the honored guests received similar pieces of memorabilia as this one is inscribed: "To the Slaytons" at top. Attractive and extremely rare.
