MA-8, 1962, FLOWN "Handkerchief" (about 15x15") This loosely woven white cotton handkerchief was removed from Wally Schirra's Mercury spacecraft after the flight. It shown some discoloration, probably from his sweat soaking through the suit pocket. A consignor's COA is included. Unique and, we must admit, the first flown handkerchief we have seen from the Mercury Program. An interesting piece of memorabilia.
