Great Britain. Halfcrown, 1673. S.3367; ESC-473. Charles II, 1660-1685. Fourth bust variety. Laureate draped bust right. Reverse: Cross of crowned shields with monograms in the angles. Halfcrowns of this period are generally softly struck, this example is a well struck coin with considerable original mint luster. (catalog value in Spink in EF 2400£ approximately $3800). A very difficult type to locate this nice. NGC graded AU-50.
